Jessica Geach founded her textile studio ‘Ruby Cubes’ in 2015 as a way to explore her lifelong passion for textiles, and she is based in the Dartmoor National Park – the landscape of which provides inspiration for some of her designs.

Jessica’s passion lies in creating 3D objects which are both tactile and purposeful, and her favourite material to work with is unbleached cotton rope. From this natural material she creates tactile baskets, bowls and bags. I love her vessels for their simplicity and elegance.

“For me these pieces are my own personal “soaring above’. They were the first thing that really pulled me back into my artistic centre since lockdown began. They pushed me to create on a bigger scale than I would normally choose and to utilise design elements I already had but in a fuller way.
The joy of these is that I can create them on any colour theme.  In this blue colourway the design can be interpreted as an abstract birds eye view over the Devon coastline.”
